The complete answers
Short answer: every stage removes a different uncertainty—availability, services, music, technical requirements and final flow.
First contact begins with your date, venue, guest count and the services you are considering. Once availability is confirmed, we prepare a proposal that clearly separates the DJ service, sound, lighting and every additional option.
After confirmation, we complete the music and organisational briefing. We define key moments, cues, responsibilities and communication with the venue or planner. Installation and checks take place before the wedding begins. During the celebration, your DJ manages real changes and closes the night in the way you agreed—not with an abrupt stop.
Short answer: we do not ask you to build the entire playlist yourself. We map your musical identity and take responsibility for creating a functional flow.
We record favourite genres and artists, must-plays, do-not-plays, the balance of Greek and international music, the ages and cultures represented among your guests. For the entrance, first dance, cake and other moments, we agree the exact version, duration and cue.
Short answer: once your date and venue are confirmed, it is worth checking availability—especially for popular Saturdays.
There is no single deadline for every wedding. Demand changes according to the month, day, location and production scope. A wedding requiring only a DJ is easier to arrange than an event with several sound zones, lighting, special effects and additional performers.
Contacting us early does not mean you need a finished playlist. Your date, venue and an initial picture of your needs are enough. The more complex the production, the more time is required for technical planning and coordination.
Short answer: prevention comes before backup. Equipment, files and critical connections are checked before the first guest arrives.
Important music files are stored locally and do not depend on streaming or an internet connection. The installation is designed around the venue, power supply, sound zones and event duration. Where the scope requires it, we provide backup equipment or an alternative signal path and technical support.
We do not make vague promises that “nothing can ever happen”. We explain what has been checked, which backup is available and who is responsible for recovery, so one isolated problem does not interrupt the whole celebration.
Short answer: the identity is yours; live management is the DJ's responsibility.
Your preferences define the musical framework and the boundaries that should not be crossed. That does not mean the night runs as a locked playlist. A rigid programme cannot respond to a delayed dinner, different participation between generations or an unexpected shift in energy.
The aim is for you to recognise yourselves in the music without needing to predict every song in advance. Ratios and lists are a direction—not quotas that ignore the people on the dance floor.
Short answer: before the collaboration is confirmed, you should know which DJ is responsible and which additional professionals are required.
DJ Creations works as a team, but your wedding is never treated as an anonymous slot in a schedule. We confirm the DJ who carries the musical responsibility and, when additional services are included, who coordinates technicians, entertainers or special effects.
The final proposal clarifies the scope, roles and main point of contact. You know who prepares with you, who stands behind the console and who handles every technical or organisational requirement.
